Welcome to Gateway Community Church. We are a church of ordinary people who are on a journey together, seeking to better understand, follow, relate to, and serve our gracious and loving God. Whether you have yet to attend a church in our area, or you have visited several, rest assured we would be humbled to have you as our guest this or any weekend. Our Sunday Service begins at 10:00 AM. We have Connection Groups which meet throughout the week. We also have a Children-In-Action Ministry for kids in grades K-6th and a 4:12 Youth Ministry for those in the 7th-12th grade. C.I.A. and 4:12 meet at the church on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM. Due to renovations and construction in our Nursery and Children’s area, C.I.A. is not currently meeting on Wednesday nights. We look forward to a grand re-opening soon. Stay tuned!

That's Our Story. We'd Love to Hear Yours...

Our nursery and basement renovations are coming along. Yet, there is still tons of work that needs to be done. The goal is have the nursery area done prior to Easter services. So, Steve Lien is asking for help this Saturday morning, from 8:30-? We need to finish the drywall installation this weekend so we can move to the next stages of the reno. Even though is short notice, we pray that you would consider sacrificing some time to come and help.

If you have any questions please contact Pastor Chip.

Thank you in advance for all your support and kingdom service

This week I was reading an article on assessing where your church might be struggling. One of the question posed in the article profoundly struck me:

Is the view in your rearview mirror, bigger than the one in the front window?

What a piercing and powerful question to consider. When we as a church, or as believers, focus more on what things used to be like, it’s difficult to ever move forward.

I challenge you this week to live for what’s ahead, not for what’s behind!

Sunday Pastor Chip shared how the church and believers are designed for growth. Church growth is dependent upon the spiritual growth of it's members.

As we begin our week, let’s consider how we seek to be intentional in growing in our understanding of God’s word and our obedience to it.

Here are four steps to help:

Step 1 – Read your Bible daily.
Step 2 – Meet together with other believers regularly.
Step 3 – Get involved in a ministry.
Step 4 – Pray consistently.
