Gateway is a place to discover what life in Christ is all about, through relationships. We know that first-time visits to a new church can be intimidating for some, and we want to help welcome you and enjoy the genuine hospitality. Here are some things you can expect when you come to visit us:
A warm welcome
We won’t single you out, put you on the spot, embarrass you, judge you, or expect anything from you. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds – whether you are a regular churchgoer, new to this whole “church thing,” or just searching for something.
A relevant Bible-based message
We believe that, “Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17),” due to this conviction, our messages come straight from God’s Word. We further believe that, “If it doesn’t matter on Monday, why preach it on Sunday?” Thus our messages speak to real life issues, encouraging us to apply God’s word to our lives.
The Nursery: Currently under a complete remodel. Grand re-opening coming soon!
We want you to have peace of mind leaving your children in the care of our Children’s Ministry workers, thus we want you to know that all of our volunteers have passed a criminal background check and there are multiple adults with emergency response training present. Furthermore, our volunteer’s love children, and work hard to provide a safe, fun, nurturing children’s program.
Our worship team plays a mixture of songs from contemporary to traditional hymns. The music is led by guitars, drums, and keyboards, with lyrics displayed on a screen in front. We also offer times of introspection and prayer, so you can connect with God in a very personal manner. Giving is also a part of worship, yet we do not take up an offering here. We have a box located to the side of the sanctuary so you can choose to worship God by giving privately.
Relax and be yourself! Feel free to wear jeans and a t-shirt, your Sunday best, or anything that feels comfortable. Our Pastor normally preaches in jeans, a Polo-style shirt and boots. So come as you are, and be assured no one will judge you here.
