Our Story

Gateway Community Church, founded in 1995 as a church plant, has been on a mission since day one to reach our city and surrounding areas with the love of Jesus Christ. We exist to foster deep connections—with God, with people, and with the world around us. We strive to create an environment where individuals can strengthen their relationship with God through authentic worship, spiritual growth, and community.

Connect with God

At Gateway, we believe that the Bible is God's authoritative word. This is what we live and breathe, and what you will always hear on a Sunday morning. We want to foster authentic faith through the lens of God's word. That's the only way we can truly connect with God—by making His word the focal point of our lives. Here at Gateway, we want your faith to be challenged and encouraged so that you can stand strong in your faith as you strive to take your next steps toward Jesus.

Connecting with God is not just a Sunday morning interaction; it's a dynamic, ongoing relationship that begins with Jesus and ends with Jesus. Come be a part of a community that encourages and supports your personal connection with the divine, making every moment a sacred opportunity to draw closer to God.

Connect with People

Our life groups are one of our main areas of focus. God created us for relationships so that we can help each other take our next steps towards Jesus. What better way to do that than in a life group? Life groups meet throughout the year on various nights of the week. Whatever age you are or life stage you happen to be in, we have a group for you. Find a life group that is right for you HERE

Connect with the World

Gateway exists to reach the city and surrounding areas around us. We do this not so much by the city coming to us but by us going to them. We step out of our walls and take it to the streets, parks, and places of business. One of the things we love to do is what we call WOW events, short for Worship Outside Our Walls. This is one way for us to not just be a building that celebrates Jesus but a beacon of light that celebrates Jesus wherever we are.
